Four Leaf Clover Farms

Spock is the man of the (hen) house. He is a fascinating Australorp rooster about three years old (approximate D.O.B. March 2020), given to us by a very nice person working at our local feed store. He has integrated well with the flock and keeps a close eye on all his hens. He's quite logical as well. 🖖

Spock has had a few tussles with various threats to his harem. But his spurs are about two inches long and are probably what gave him the edge during a recent run in with a local fox. 

Spock is a Dad to two roosters (Apollo and Odin) and a hen (Olivine). Apollo's mom is Dominique and Odin's mom is Rowan. The boys were given away as they matured and became too aggressive to be in close quarters with each other. Olivine, however - who's mom is Bluey, has fully integrated into the flock.
